This is a very rare Glasgow Rangers Official Adidas Goalkeepers Shirt
from the 1996/97 season
CONDITION - Shirt is in excellent condition
CONDITION DETAILS - Colours are good, logos including the number print are excellent.
SIZE - Adults Large
Armpit to armpit 24 inches. Top of shoulder to bottom of the shirt 30 inches
FEATURES - Official Adidas number 1 felt print on the back. The Coca Cola Cup Final 1996 embroidered on the front
DETAIL - Rare player shirt believed to have been prepared for the Scottish League Cup Final match against Hearts played at Celtic Park, Glasgow on the 24th November 1996. Goram was number 1 but played in a short sleeved version. This is believed to be spare shirt.
McCoist scored 2 to put Rangers 2 up and it would not be until nearly the end of the first half when Hearts scored to make it 2-1. In the second half Jim Jefferies' men managed to equalise but Gascoigne bagged a brace to Rangers 4-2 up before David Weir scored to make the final score line 4-3.
